Danilo Bueno is a Software Engineer at the University of Edinburgh, working with Professor Sotirios Tsaftaris within the CHAI group. He is leading the CHAI compute rollout on EIDF (Edinburgh International Data Facility), coordinating with project leads and setting up resources to enable access to compute and GPU infrastructure for research projects.
Previously, Danilo contributed to the PhenomUK project, where he was responsible for defining and implementing a software and hardware solution for storing and sharing plant phenotyping data.
Danilo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Sao Paulo State University, Brazil, and has experience in web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud computing.
