Christopher Boland is an EngD student at the University of Edinburgh and Canon Medical Research Europe supervised by Professor Sotirios Tsaftaris, Dr Sonia Dahdouh, and Dr Keith Goatman. His research is focused on learning with limited supervision for medical image analysis. He has a strong interest in the study of fairness and bias in AI for healthcare.
Christopher holds a Bachelor’s degree with first-class honours in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow. Prior to starting his EngD, he worked as a software engineer.
